Cultural beliefs influencing access to maternal healthcare services in East Pokot Pastoral communities, Baringo County, Kenya

The purpose of this study was to assess the cultural beliefs influencing access maternal healthcare in East Pokot Pastoral Communities, Baringo County, Kenya. founded on choice-making model and theory access. research methodology directed by descriptive survey design. target population 5720 women reproductive age between 15 49 years their partners, community leaders, government health facilities administrators, traditional birth attendants workers from pastoralist communities A stratified purposive sampling technique included techniques were used sample 146 participants. Data collected using Focus Group Discussions in-depth interviews. Using Nvivo software, data coded tracked findings presented narratives with quotations. found that members held at times barred accessing services sub-county.
